Accounts management ? Placing holds, restrictions or suspensions on accounts

If an account is suspected or found to be trading fraudulently or with negative impact to other users, shoppingtown.info may place a hold on the account, or restrict or suspend the functioning of the account

Any of the following actions may result in a hold, restriction or suspension being placed on your account:

1. Non-payment of the fees due to shoppingtown.info, especially when your account is hosted by Netsky Pty Ltd. Please note that on accounts hosted by Netsky Pty Ltd, service is automatically terminated on expiry so it is very important that users ensure they renew their account.
2. Failure to reimburse shoppingtown.info or Netsky Pty Ltd for a refund made to your buyer.
3. Serious violations of the terms and conditions of use, policies or rules of shoppingtown.info

We may place either a temporary or permanent hold, restriction, or suspension on your account. Temporary holds are placed when shoppintown.info suspect that your account has been unlawfully or irregularly accessed by a third party, in which event we request that you refer to our Help page on how to deal with a Hacked Account. For a permanent hold or suspension, we will send an email to you as user to outline the reasons for the hold or suspension, and the steps you can take to have your account reinstated.

Reinstating your account

To reinstate your account, please follow the steps in the notice sent to you via email to confirm your account has been placed on hold, restricted or suspended. If the account is in arrears, i.e. there are unpaid payments or outstanding seller?s commission amounts, the account will usually be reinstated once the arrears is resolved. This process is generally automatic however if same is not completed you can refer the matter to our Contact Centre

Most account restrictions or suspensions can be resolved by making a payment or by following the steps we gave you in the email notice, which can be found under the Messages tab in your profile.

Fake notices regarding holds, restrictions or suspension.

All notices regarding holds, restrictions or suspension that soppingtown.info sends you will be sent to the email listed in your user profile, and linked in the messages section of your profile. Please watch out for any fake emails sent about account holds, restrictions or suspensions and report any such emails received to us immediately.
