Get help with a hacked account
If you think someone is trying to take over your account ? or already has ? we'll work with you to secure it. For your protection, we may place a temporary hold on your account.
Signs your account has been hacked
If your account has been compromised, you may notice some or all of the following:
- Changes to your password, contact information, or address details
- New orders and / or listings that you didn?t make
- Changes to your account points
- Changes to your deposit account information
If you notice any of the above, act quickly and confirm if any person you provided your account details made any changes or placed ay orders on the account. If no such changes were made, or you didn?t provide your login details to anyone, please proceed as follows
If you can sign into your account
- Change your password immediately
- Login and verify your contact information, payment details, My Account Points, your shipping addresses, and your payment information
- Check your buying orders and listings in My Order History ? this opens in a new window or tab to make sure they're yours. Contact Us for help with removing unauthorised fraudulent orders or listing items
If there's been no fraudulent activity on your account, you don't need to contact us

If you can't sign in to your account, Contact Us immediately
Tip
If you believe your shoppingtown.info account has been compromised, we recommend changing the password on your personal email account as well. Your email account password should be different from your shoppingtown.info password. Please know that your email is very important to you. We may contact, send order information and verify you through your email account.
If someone has used your shoppingtown.info account without your permission, you'll want to contact your credit card company and your bank, and you may also want to file a police report.
